BIOGRAPHY

Influenced from a very young age by his mother, Cecilia Martínez Torres Lara, a classical music pianist, and inspired by the sounds of rock that fueled his melomania from an early age, he studied with various music teachers, one of them being Jorge Madueño. With Madueño, he developed a refined creative and musical style that eventually led him to become involved in the musicalization of underground video art, documentaries, institutional videos, and advertising commercials. He is also the godson of a tech geek and photography lover, which significantly influenced him in audiovisual matters.

In 2007, he did the sound design work for the short film OFELIA by director Humberto Gutiérrez, with which he won the Conacine award for best sound in 2008. This work also won the award for best short film fiction and best indigenous short at the Cusco International Festival, in addition to receiving a special mention at the Biarritz Film Festival in France.

Not only was he developing in the sound field, but at that time, he also carried out audiovisual projects as a videographer and editor for clients such as Repsol, Movistar, Edyficar, and MiBanco, among others. In the same way, his love for cinema and photography led him to participate as a crane cameraman (Hot Head) for commercials, films, and music video clips filmed in Peru. He also worked as a video editor and post producer in television programs for Media Networks Latin America (Plus TV, CMD, Perú Mágico). He also held the position of music content producer in this company.
